Curried Chickpeas Pasta

Ingredients :

  • 1/3 of a box of any kind pasta
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 4 garlic pods
  • 2 tsp curry masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 cup of cooked chenna(chickpeas)
  • 1 zucchini,1/2 red pepper,1/2 green pepper chopped into cubes
  • olive oil,salt,chopped coriander leaves
  • dried italian seasoning mix(optional)
Procedure :

1.Cook the pasta as per the instructions on the box.


2.Drain the pasta , add the cooked chickpeas to the pasta and set it aside.

3.Heat oil in a kadai.Once the oil is hot,add the spice powders to the hot oil and stir immediately.Be careful not to have the oil really hot or the masala will get burnt.


4.Puree the tomatoes and garlic together in a blender.Add the puree to oil now.

5.Let it cook and reduce down.

6.Add the veggies to the kadai now.Let the veggies cook for approximately 7 mins.


7.Now add the pasta to the veggies and mix well.Add salt,chopped coriander leaves and italian seasoning mix.Check for salt and make sure its evenly mixed.Its ready to be served.
